Osteopathie bij Baby - Van Wely

Complaints in babies

As a parent, you understand how heartbreaking it can be to see your little one in discomfort or pain. Fortunately, osteopathy can provide a gentle and effective approach to treating a variety of infant issues. Osteopathy can provide solutions to, among other things, restricted movement in the base of the skull and upper neck region as a result of childbirth. This can manifest itself in poor sleep, short sleep, excessive (startle) reflex, restlessness, excessive crying, unwillingness to be laid down, etc.

As an osteopath I have specialized in osteopathy for babies by completing a two-year training. This has provided me with additional knowledge and skills to treat your baby effectively.

The treatment

During a first visit with your baby, we will extensively discuss the complaints your baby is experiencing. These can be the result of various factors, such as a long or fast delivery, a breech position or a caesarean section. Whatever the cause of the problem, Osteopathie van Wely will look for the solution for you.

Beforehand, you will receive an online questionnaire that will give me more insight into the problem. During the first visit, I will perform an extensive physical examination to determine which loss of movement is responsible for your baby's complaints. In doing so, I will take into account the comfort and well-being of your baby. You can bring a pacifier, a cuddly toy or a cloth for this.

After the examination, I will draw up a treatment plan that will be discussed with you in detail.

"Fast improvement and good advice"
